In November, I was invited by Arkitektforeningen to attend an award ceremony in connection with their photography competition on the theme of Transformation. And my photos were selected as one of the five winning projects.
I photographed Pulse Living, an old industrial building in Nordvest at the corner of Ørnevej and Hejrevej, which has been transformed into housing and commercial space. I’m very curious about the development in Nordvest. This is where my first home in Copenhagen was, and so much is happening in the area that I’m always surprised by something new whenever I visit.
It was an absolute pleasure to hear the jury’s comments about my photos, they made me feel seen and understood as a photographer – you can read these words in the 9th edition of Arkitekten 2024.
